Congresswoman Plaskett is committed to ensuring that all Virgin Island students are afforded a quality education, and she continues to support legislation to help close the achievement gap and improve educational outcomes for Virgin Islands students. Stacey has also introduced the United States Virgin Islands College Access Act of 2017, which will allow college students who are residents of the Virgin Islands to pay In-State Tuition rates at participating four-year institutions of higher education located in one of several States, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, and Guam.
