CONGRESSWOMAN STACEY E. PLASKETT ANNOUNCES BLACK HISTORY MONTH COMPETITION

Washington, DC - Congresswoman Stacey. E. Plaskett released the following statement announcing a Black History Month competition:

“As we approach Black History Month, I would like to announce that my office will be hosting a creative competition for students grade K-12. The competition will run between February 1-20^th and asks students to create an original video or a visual presentation with a reenactment, reading, or other creative presentation of or inspired by a speech, scene, artistic work, or event in Black history or culture.

“Black history and culture are so rich and this Black History month I would like Virgin Islands students to get creative and highlight that through this competition.”
