Postal Service Issues

Help with Postal Service Issues

Regarding the current status of the U.S Postal Service mail delivery delay, if you are having issues that are greatly affecting you it is encouraged that you reach out to your Congressional District Office. (See Connect Tab, under Offices Section for Office Information) When in contact with a staff member, a Privacy Act Release Form will be given to you to report your issues with the Postal Service. This form prohibits the disclosure of personal information without the expressed written consent of that individual. Once the Privacy Release Form is filled out, the staff worker assisting you will ask you to send in evidence of the issues you are facing with the postal service. (Evidence would include pictures or scanned copies of receipts with dates, bills, or any document with information that would assist the office in proving proof of your issue.) This evidence will then be used by Congresswoman Plaskett in discussion with USPS regional officials, in her push to solving the Postal Service Issue.

As of now, Congresswoman Plaskett has sent a letter to the U.S Postmaster General addressing the inadequate postal service within the Virgin Islands. The following link provides information of her progress on fixing this issue:
