Energy and Environment

Energy, security and environmental protection are two of the most consequential issues to the Virgin Islands economy. In 2015, Congresswoman Plaskett participated in a White House Caribbean Energy Security Summit and continues her work to support sustainable and renewable energy in Congress. While a proponent of development and sustainable energy, Congresswoman Plaskett is also committed to protecting environmental safeguard policies and firmly supports legislation aimed at mitigating the effects of climate change.
