I am pleased to announce internship opportunities for college students are available in my Congressional Offices for summer, fall and winter semesters.
The two- or four-week internships will be available in my Congressional Office in Washington, D.C., and in my St. Thomas and St. Croix District Congressional Offices. Students are expected to work 30 hours per week. Although our internships are unpaid, students will have the opportunity to gain real work experience in the U.S. Congress.
Please know that students are responsible for their own transportation and housing costs, as well as any living expenses they may incur during their internship session.
Students interested in taking advantage of our internship opportunities are asked to provide a cover letter expressing interest and the preferred session date, plus one-page resume, writing sample, and one letter of recommendation from either a teacher (current or past); youth, community or business leader; or church pastor.
