The Virgin Islands of the United States is one of America’s five insular areas represented in the United States House of Representatives. The Virgin Islands is also home to five of the 417 national parks in the United States’ National Park System. Stacey is committed to protecting the Virgin Islands’ natural resources and preserving its cultural heritage. In Congress, Stacey supports legislation and initiatives aimed at mitigating the effects of climate change, as well as legislation that promote conservation, clean and sustainable energy and responsible environmental regulation. Stacey is the Ranking Member of the Subcommittee on the Interior, Energy and Environment for the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee.
