Plaskett released the following statement on her upcoming episode of the Washington Report where she addresses common concerns surrounding the COVID-19 vaccine: “The COVID-19 pandemic has completely upended our lives as we know it, caused millions of deaths worldwide and continues to wreak havoc on our communities. The development and availability of the vaccine has the potential to help us to return to normal and prevent further mutations of the virus. Yet, there is widespread concern about the COVID-19 vaccine and many of us continue to question the vaccine’s effectiveness and safety. Additionally, the vaccination rate in the Virgin Islands is one of the lowest in the nation. “In this episode of the Washington Report, we address common concerns and questions regarding the COVID vaccine.
