CONGRESSWOMAN PLASKETT MOURNS PASSING OF LOCAL OB-GYN, DR. WARREN BRISCOE

Washington, DC – Congresswoman Plaskett, a Member of the House Ways and Means, Budget and Agriculture Committees, released the following statement expressing her condolences to the friends and family of Dr. Warren Briscoe:

“It is with tremendous sadness that I share my condolences to the family, loved ones, and friends of Warren D. Briscoe, MD. 

Dr. Briscoe and his wife, Dr. Trevena Moore were dear friends to me and my family for many years. A dedicated, skillful ob-gyn, Dr. Briscoe was a gift to our territory. He made a significant impact caring for Virgin Islands women, me included, and helped many of us bring our children into the world. We were blessed to have a native son come home with his beautiful wife and both lend healing hands to our community.

“I send my love and prayers for comfort and peace to his wife, children and other family and friends during this time.”
