PLASKETT BRINGS CLARITY ON POST OFFICE BOX RATE INCREASE FOR VETERANS ANNEX STATION ON ST. THOMAS

Washington, D.C. – Congresswoman Plaskett released the following statement on the recent increase in post office box fees at the Veterans Annex Post Office on St. Thomas, USVI:

“Many constituents have contacted my office concerned with astronomical increases to the local post office box fees advertised at the Veterans Annex post office in St. Thomas. My district team worked swiftly to address the issue with the USPS regional office in Puerto Rico and with our local postmasters. Local USPS management has advised us that revised rate sheets are displayed in the Veterans Drive post office station and that individuals who were awaiting clarity on the rate increase will not incur late fees.”
