Washington, D.C. – Congresswoman Stacey E. Plaskett released the following statement:

“It is with deep sadness that I convey my condolences to my colleague, Rep. Mary Peltola on the passing of her husband, Eugene Peltola. As Members of Congress, our families, our spouses in particular, provide an invaluable source of support and I am incredibly heartbroken for Rep. Mary and her children Conrad, Matthew, Job, Nora, Gene, Trevor and Kaeli on this sudden loss.
